Some seats exhibited a crack in the area adjacent to the front harness adjuster.
In the event of a crash should a crack develop, the crack may cause the child
not to be properly restrained if the child is seated in the restraint using the five-
point harness system. Call 1-800-265-0749 to receive a free reinforcement
plate and installation instructions. Until the repair kit is received it is
recommended that the seat referenced not be used with the five-point harness.

When using the Secure Kid 4000 as a belt-positioning booster seat, the French
labeling on the product incorrectly instructs consumers to pass the shoulder
portion of the vehicle seat belt through the lower lap-belt guide. The English
label correctly instructs users to route the lap portion of the vehicle seat belt
through the guide.
