Unit description

3.2 Description of function

The Fluid Heater are heated electrically.

The Fluid Heater Pic. 3.1 consists of two main parts:

➤ Housing with electrical switch and heating elements.

➤ Heat exchanger with material inlet and outlet connections.

Material flows through the heat exchan-

ger and is warmed by the heat produced

by electrical heating elements in the the

housing.

The desired temperature is freely

adjustable using the temperature knob

The lower part of the housing is conical. The heat exchanger has a matching

conical form. Should a blockage occur in the heat exchanger, it can be remo-

ved from the housing by using the separating screw and then exchanged.

For versions with permanent power connection, an explosion proof cable lead

in accordance with IP54 is mounted on the housing.
