rethread through metal retention slides.

In sudden stop/crash, straps will not

on handle may loosen & separate from

may be glued (not sewn). Check loops

at splitter plate on seat back. Destroy!

Problem #2: models 4253, 4261, 4263,

4265 & 4266 made 12/91-4/30/92,

(9112-9204). Push button can fail allow-

ing shield/harness to release. Destroy!

3000 STE Tray-Shield Problem #1:

Fabric on shield has Velcro, child may

unfasten Velcro & pull apart foam. OR

Problem #2: models 4365 & 4368

made 5/7/90-6/14/90 (9005-9006). Latch

tongue breaks in crash allowing child to

slip out. OR Problem #3: models 4353,

4365, & 4368 pre-1/1/91 (9101 & lower).

Instructions may not advise when to

switch from rear to forward latching

positions. Failure to switch to forward

latching position for a child more than

30 lbs. makes release difficult after

crash. OR Problem #4: made 9/89-4/92

(8909-9204) release button rotates up

in crash making release difficult. Note:

Some seats were repaired with defective

button. Problems 1-4: Destroy!
